At some point I'm going to get people asking me this, so I thought I might as well make a page...
...Well, obviously I'm a Latin lover. That's why I set up this blog. I do this strictly as a hobby - a hobby that takes up a great deal of my time and energy and love, of course, but still a hobby. In the real world, I'm a geeky, unassuming student, but on the internet I'm quite mouthy. Still geeky as hell though.
I'm also a lover of science (particularly theoretical physics), a left-wing loony (and I still manage to be saner than most rightists), and a highly opinionated person in general. Oh, and I sometimes sing a bit. You can find my other witterings over at vivatlibertas.blogspot.com.
I do most of this entirely under my own steam, so I don't get anyone to check it, and I fear there may be errors. I know I'm not the best. I'm still learning. But I feel justified in doing this because so many other people publish complete crap that one more bit of crap shouldn't make a difference.
I'm not a teacher. Hell, I don't even have a degree yet - I'm too young for that, I'll tell you that much. I'm not on some grand quest to bring Latin to the masses - I leave that to others, for I'm too tired to do that job. What I am on a quest to do, and what I set up this blog for, is to share a little of my passion for such a beautiful language. That's all.
